It is easy to ask for info but only existing documents or recordings are required to be provided and you can ask for it in the format you wish (if available). 

Note: The town can charge you for FOIA depending on how long it takes to get info so keep that in mind before asking for large amounts of documents.  Providing FOIA is the town clerks job but I'd be happy to help you create your requests.
